Summer Program
 For children at VMS, summer is a special time of exploration, discovery and creating lifelong memories of fun in the sun. Our summer program is designed to offer developmentally appropriate activities within the Montessori setting for VMS families. Our summer program will maintain the structure and principles innate to the Montessori class which are so critical for children of this age. We will extend our program to included extensive outdoor activities such as nature study, gardening, science exploration, water activities, large muscle activities, games and cooperative play.
Special art, science, or cooking projects revolving around various topics of study will be included.
Children will need to bring a lunch. (VMS provides beverages.) Partcipants in all camp sessions will enjoy a variety of nutritious snacks often prepared by the children.
More information and registration forms are available in the VMS office. In order to maintain the high standards of the Montessori program, enrollment is open only to VMS students or applicants for the fall.
