For children at Village Montessori School, summer is a special time of exploration, discovery and creating lifelong memories of fun in the sun.
An all day extension of our current Montessori program, our Summer Program is designed to offer developmentally appropriate activities within the Montessori setting for Village Montessori School families. Whether your child is enrolled in our toddler program or primary program, we have a place for them during our summer program. |

Our Montessori summer program maintains the structure and principles innate to the Montessori class which are so critical for children of these ages. We extend our program to include extra-curricular outdoor activities.
These activities include nature study, gardening, and science exploration. Spending time outdoors offers a new way to learn. We pack up our magnifying glasses, and bug container and begin to learn about the world outside our classroom. We also incorporate new summer outside games such as water activities, large muscle activities, games and cooperative play. |

Our Montessori summer program staff varies the indoor curriculum to keep things interesting through the summer months. We incorporate special art projects and cooking to help the children channel their imagination. We also add new science lessons to your child’s day to help enrich their knowledge of the natural world.
Children will need to bring a lunch during this time. (Village Montessori School provides beverages.) Participants in all camp sessions will enjoy a variety of nutritious snacks often prepared by the children. |
